The Brief: To produce a range of materials encouraging people to take simple steps to prepare for emergencies. The materials needed to be targeted at different audiences within the community, including families, older people, other residents, businesses, people living in flood risk areas, and school children.
My work: Working with the emergency services, business representatives, voluntary and public sector organisations, I scoped the core messages for each group and the most effective ways to present these. I then worked alongside an illustrator and designers to produce a toolkit of FOLD UP CARDS, CHECKLISTS, LEAFLETS, web content and training presentations which are still being used regularly five years on from the original project.
