I’m a tea-drinking copywriter from Hertfordshire, and winner (mostly) of the daily battle against some pretty independently-minded hair.
As well as the unruly hair I have a degree from the University of Durham (where I was awarded a first in my written dissertation – I’m still proud), and over fifteen years of professional writing experience across the business, public and charity sectors.
Since 2017, I’ve been working freelance as a professional copywriter, and I genuinely love my job.
My big love is for brand strategy, tone of voice, creative copy and B2C retail copy.
I mix that with a healthy dose of copy for service-based businesses, B2B and charities. After all, variety is everything!
I often used to be found tap-dancing when I wasn’t working, but injury put an end to that (boo). Instead, you’re now much more likely to find me enthusiastically massacring my latest craft obsession or tying myself in knots on a pilates mat. Or maybe curled up with a cuppa and a good book.
PS – If you’re looking for me on LinkedIn, you’ll find me as Megan Douglas.
